Archi in Villa Masterclass2

From the 20th of July to the 30th of August 2020, the fifth edition of the Archi in Villa Baruchello festival & Villa Baruchello Summer Academy will take place organized by Club della Musica, unchanged in the two-fold spirit: Academy and Festival. Students are offered teaching by world famous musicians and will have valuable opportunities for performance.

Villa Baruchello Summer Academy proposes international musical perfectionement courses for Strings (violin, viola, cello), Piano, Opera singing, Wind Instruments, Harp and Chamber Music. They are held by artists with a well-established international reputation.who put their precious experience at the disposal of the students. It is an event that promotes the meeting of young musicians from all over the world

WHERE The courses will take place in the beautiful setting of Villa Baruchello in Porto Sant’Elpidio, renowed seaside town on the Adriatic Riviera (Marche), Italy

WHO The master classes call on young people who aim at the profession of musician. Are invited to participate the students of different level from conservatories, the already formed chamber music groups, the graduates who wish to perfection their knowledge and eventually prepare themselves to audition, competition or to continue their postgraduated studies.

AIMS Students will have the advantage of improving the study of solo and chamber compositions and of working the specific orchestral parts of their instrument. They’ll enrich their repertoire, confronting the problems of interpretation respecting the style of musical periods, relying on the search for the appropriate technical means to express themselves at their best..

ORGANIZATION For the enrolled students there are individual lessons, participation in ensemble and chamber music workshops as well as in seminar of the Baroque and Classic performance practice, etc. It is also offered the opportunity to participate in a musical improvisation workshop. An accompanying pianist is available on request (please send the parts 30 days in advance). During the period of the courses will be organized concerts of masters and students. The Concerts organized during the Festival help preparing the young musicians for their future as Professionals.

ADVICE FOR PARTICIPANT It is required to prepare at least one piece from the Baroque / classical period that can be discussed during the seminar.
It is possible to perform in public concerts at the discretion of the Masters, for which purpose it is suggested to present a repertoire in the advanced stage as well as the one to be worked in the initial phase.
